Inventor Sprouts | Invention Drawing Activity Book with 50 Challenges (ages 5-10)

My 5 year old enjoyed inventing based off the prompts. She had a challenging time with some of them but was up for it and got a thrill when she saw her inventions on paper. The retractable crayons are great and I appreciate how the flip-pad comes out of the case and velcros back in for storage once we're done. The perforated pages are easy to tear. I plan to get this in the shapes one as well and its probably the best one to start with for little ones. The food for the hot air balloon pic is a pea, she loves peas! In conclusion, perhaps start with the shapes set before this one for little ones but it is a great set and worth the purchase. For example, one page asked the kids to invent a new animal by combining three animals together. You get a nice variety of crayon options. The pages feel thick and made from a good quality paper. It works great at home or even as an on the go car trip activity.

This little drawing book is so cool. Totally age appropriate for my seven year old. She was able to put the iPad down and completely use her imagination. She had so much fun with all of the colors. Really high quality kit with vibrant crayons, fun prompts and perforated pages allow them to tear out pages so they can keep their cherished work and show it. The packaging is dual purpose and keeps everything organized so you can take things on the road. This was clearly well thought out. My daughter had so much fun drawing silly and sometimes thought provoking ideas. Perfect to stimulate a young kids imagination. Value wise I think maybe a bit pricey but saves you the effort of having to come up with these prompts yourself and honestly sometimes there's less resistance when it comes from a book/teacher instead of from a parent.
